Laura Evans - Laura Evans Interiors and Owner of Urban ID Interior Design Studio

1. When/Why should a client hire you (Licensed contractors, vendors, experience, solve problems, prevent costly mistakes, etc):

I take the stress out of interior design. With countless vendors and resources, I can save you valuable time and investment. Creating beautiful homes, along with my clients, is definitely my passion. Your home should be your sanctuary, and when I am privileged to be a part of that, it just makes me happy.

2. Do you have a specific design style(s):

Although I love all aspects of design, my favorite projects are windows treatments and furniture. Although wallpaper is quickly climbing up my list! There are so many fabulous wallpapers out there right now that can have such a huge impact on a room.

As far as style, I love all styles that have a “comfortable” feel to them. This can be accomplished with any style from Traditional to Contemporary.

3. What made you decide to get into this field?:

I have always had an eye and passion for design. After helping several friends and family with their home “just for fun”, I realized that I could make a career doing something that I love.

4. What do you like to do in your spare time?:

I love to travel, and have been all over the world even including Africa! I also love spending time with friends and family, especially when I get to cook for them.

5. Anything else you would like people to know about you?:

If you make me laugh, you will know it, I have been told my many that my laugh is not only loud, but contagious.
